Stout attended North Rowan High
School in Salisbury, NC. He
graduated with honors and was
elected to the National Honor
Society. He received his Bachelors
and Masters of Science degrees
in Mathematics at North Carolina
Central University, graduating
Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Stout obtained
his Doctorate of Dental Surgery
degree from Case Western Reserve
University in Cleveland, OH
in 1984. Dr. Stout worked as
an associate for several years
before opening his private practice
maintaining his private practice,
he also served as clinical faculty
instructor at Carolinas Medical Center's
Department of Dentistry and did so
for nearly 15 years. There he served
as both Vice-chief and Chief of this
department from 1992-1994. Dr. Stout
is an active member of the Charlotte
Dental Society, where he served on
the board for several years and as
President from 2004-2005. He works
closely with the advisory board for
the Partnership for Children's Dental
Health and has participated in many
of the national "Give Kids a Smile
Day". He has been involved also with
Communities in School, treating at-risk
student participants pro bono. He
served as President of the A.J. Williams
Dental Study Club from 2002 to 2007
and is an active member of the Charlotte
Medical Society. What he enjoys most
about dentistry is changing people's
lives by giving them a healthy new
smile. He further enjoys changing
people's perception that dentistry
has to hurt. Dentistry is in a new
era now, and there are a multitude
of dental modalities that can be rendered
that allow Dr. Stout to perform dentistry
without pain. Dr. Stout is a very
compassionate man and makes sure that
his patients are comfortable throughout
their entire procedure. Dr. Stout
also brags about his wonderful, caring
staff who help to make their patients'
lives better. They enjoy their work

Stephanie has been a member of our business office operations for several years. She is a graduate of UNC- Charlotte and has been in dentistry for over 8 years. Stephanie is a very compassionate person and strives to work out arrangements for our patients to be able to have their dental needs taken care of.

Gale / Front Office Administrator
Gale has been a member of our Business Office operations since 1998. She worked in the HealthCare Insurance Industry for 25 years. Gale brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice that assists our patients in maximizing their dental insurance benefits.
Crystal / Registered Dental Hygienist
Crystal has been a member of our dental team since 2001. She received both her DAII certification and Dental Hygiene certification at Central Piedmont Community College. Crystal enjoys dentistry and loves caring for our patients’ dental health. Her gentle and caring skills in maintaining our patients’ gum health and treating their periodontal disease is second to none.
Jan /DAII/ Head Dental Assistant
Jan has been a Dental Assistant for over 30 years and has been a member of our dental team since 1995. She provides excellent care to our patients. She genuinely cares for all people. Jerri / DAII
Jerri has been a Dental Assistant for over 23 years and has been a member of our dental team since 2012. She is experienced and well versed in the area of removable partial and full dentures. She is a caring and conscientious assistant, making certain that your visit is totally comfortable and that you understand all of your treatment concerns. Jerri enjoys reading, football, and cooking.
Kim / Registered Dental Hygienist
Kim is a dental hygienist with over 13 years of experience in the dental field. She obtained her Dental Hygiene certification from Manata Community College in Braderton, FL. She has participated in some of the nation’s top dental education courses so that she can provide our patients with the best quality of care. With growing evidence that gum disease is linked to heart attacks, strokes, and immune disorders, Kim enjoys doing her part to guide our patients to make decisions, not only about their oral health, but about their overall health as well. She is known for her gentle touch and passion for dental education. Kim is married and has two small Chihuahuas she calls her “girls”. She moved to the Charlotte area from Florida and enjoys North Carolina for its moderate weather, fresh air, and the beauty of the seasons.
