Teeth Whitening / Bleaching
A sparkling white smile speaks volume. We all wish we could have that bright white smile naturally but some of us need a little help. Having an oral exam prior to whitening is the best first step toward a brighter smile. Some patients may not be candidates for bleaching. Bleaching will not whiten porcelain crowns or composite tooth-colored fillings. We offer a Tray-based tooth bleaching system. With this teeth whitening option, a custom fitted mouth guard-like tray is filled with a peroxide-based bleaching gel and placed over the teeth for one to several hours a day for up to four weeks. Professional whitening makes use of high concentration bleaching gels that are not available over the counter in stores.
